It’s the feeling of wilderness which makes riding in the Hiraethog area so special.
There is no doubt that you get a sense of the ‘good old days’ of mountain biking up here. Days when the bike was used to get you to great places, to get you away from it all. Cycling in the Hiraethog area gives you a feeling of not following the crowd, but getting back to what mountain biking is all about - ADVENTURE.
The area is teaming with wildlife, it's certainly not a place you would come to hack around a route as fast as possible, it’s a place where you will find yourself stopping every five minutes to admire the spectacular views, attempt to identify another form of wildlife or just to immerse yourself in a feeling of solitude and wilderness.
Hiraethog is a special place, and not to be missed.
